What you could win...

Joyeaux Anniversaire Gustave Eiffel!

 

               

Today marks the 178th anniversary of the birth of Gustave Eiffel, the architect behind the eponymous Paris landmark.

To commemorate this fact we've decided to giveaway some copies of 'The Murder of the Eiffel Tower' - a riveting murder mystery set in the French capital at the height of the 1889 Exposition. 

To be in with a chance of winning one of three books simply tell us which one of the below Eiffel Tower facts is incorrect. 

The Eiffel Tower...

1) ...has 72 names engraved into its base; none of which are women.

2) ...was, in 1967, nearly relocated to Montreal. 

3) ...has a wife, a certain Mrs Erika Eiffel.

4) ...has been sold for scrap, twice, by the same con man.

5) ...will, for the duration of the 2016 European Football Championships, be painted blue.

6) ...saw Franz Reichelt jump of its first floor in 1912 with a homemade parachute.
