Cinémoi Double Bill

It's been a month or two since this blog joined Francophile forces with Cinémoi, the French film channel on Sky and Virgin.

Our Film of the Month section in conjuction with Cinémoi has so far recommended two fantastic films - 'And God Created Woman' and 'London River' - but we couldn't wait another month to highlight their airing of a particular double bill which we are sure you'll love.

Vendredi Soir

'Vendredi Soir' and 'Le Secret'  both tell the story of a women’s brief, but passionate, encounter with a stranger. Directed by Claire Denis and Virginie Wagon respectively, the films deal with some adult themes but don't let that put you off. Both leads give exceptionally strong performances and are well worth a watch.
